Office of the President

The Office of the President concerns itself with the overall supervision of the executive and associate board members. The main function of which is to ensure that the set year-long plans are in line with the mission and vision of the organization. Ultimately, the office constantly strives to push the organization towards excellence through direction setting, system implementation and culture building, in pursuit of MEcO's core competencies.

Internals

Office of Executive Vice President

The Office of Executive Vice Preside manages the welfare of MEcO members and increasing member engagement; this is done through improving projects and systems that are already existing and will be put in place. (ex: ICs, Interest Checks, FGD, Surveys, Conflict Management and etc.) To produce quality individuals that will promote our CCs at the same time become competent and compassionate student leaders.

Office of the Secretary-General

The Office of the Secretary-General spearheads most importantly the project management framework and technical systems deployed and implemented throughout the entire organization. This system is responsible for the basis of the numerous outputs in projects and initiatives, as well as collecting and interpreting data such as project evaluations. Moreover, the office handles the administrative work necessary in sustaining a quality image to the Ateneo's offices, as well as molding the shape of the organization through the guidance provided in projects.

CFO

Office of the Chief Finance Officer

The Chief Finance Officer is the strategic manager of all financial matters within the organization, including administrative processes involving finance. Insightful finances are key to instrumental success and is therefore given utmost importance by the organization. The Office of the Chief Finance Officer internally promotes Financial Literacy as the foundation of the organization’s initiatives through proactively planning, analyzing, and controlling all informed financial decisions the organization undertakes.

ComDev

Community Development

The Community Development Department serves as the organization’s social arm with the aim of promoting financial literacy within and outside the Ateneo Community. The department places great focus on knowledge expansion and skills acquisition on personal finance, contributing to a financially stable future and to the individual’s growth and development.

ExRel

External Relations

The External Relations Department provides MEcO with external opportunities that allow MEcO to practice its thrust of creating shared impact through responsible investments. The ExRel department helps expand MEcO’s core competencies by providing them the necessary partners and sponsors that can build the organization’s credibility and improve the execution of the projects.

FM

Fund Management

The Fund Management Department is in charge of raising funds to aid in sustaining the different projects of the organization. The FM department places great focus on embodying financial literacy and having an entrepreneurial mindset to be able to generate profit-maximizing results.

HR

Human Resources

The Human Resources department puts the growth, development, and best interests of all members in the organization top of mind, and tailors its developmental projects such as Primer, LTS and Solstice, to the needs of the year’s demographic. HR is in charge of the development of effective recruiting, and onboarding strategies as well as training processes that cater to the members of the organization.

Investment Strategies

The Investment Strategies department promotes and reinforces the organization’s core competencies and preserves MEcO’s image as the premier investing organization in the Ateneo. The InStrat department focuses on building and sustaining a community of student-investors through different projects and initiatives.

Marketing & Communications

The Marketing and Communications department is the face of the organization as it aims to promote its activities and projects through means of traditional and non-traditional methods. It is a department that empowers its members as they build an overarching image that can creatively shape the organization towards excellence.​
